I am going to be submitting work for the upcoming Jacks Art Show, a Halloween art show at The Koken Art Factory.
Now we all know I have some dark art to submit, but I would love to have some new and never seen pieces to submit.

Jack the Ripper cordially invites you to submit artwork for his 120th Anniversary Art Show and Party. This will no doubt be St. Louis’s premiere Halloween Art Show. He is looking for art in all media and styles. Don’t limit your thinking to just pumpkins and black cats. Jack is open to anything that’s dark, moody, surreal, goth, weird, strange, bizarre, unusual, darkly humorous, or fitting in any way for a Halloween show.
Jack’s Halloween Art Show and Party is a one night event. In addition to fantastic art, there will be food, entertainment and a cash bar. We are also encouraging people to come in costume. It is a Halloween party after all.

Strung Out
Playing in the studio with Amber last night, she wanted to do some ’strung out’ themed shots, not sure if we pulled it off or not, here are some of the results regardless.

4:00 in the morning…
….can’t sleep, in too much pain but the session was worth it, other than have to reschedule a shoot with Little Sarah and Iris Moon.

It is a good thing I did bump the shoots I had planned for Thursday, I am going to have to wrap my foot from now on I guess. Besides the normal pain a long shoot brings I managed to…..yep you guessed it….I just need a new foot. Must be going up and down the stairs at the studio, right now I would like to just chop it off.

..I want to be doing - Loop - I have the studio for it, just need to get the proper setup in the ceiling.
I have so many ideas in my head and I cannot do them, why, they take MONEY. I hate how that is the biggest obstacle I have, money should not stifle ones creative ideas, but it does.
I have a shoot tomorrow with Iris Moon, she has an outfit she made just for this shoot, I am hoping we have finally got the photographer/model thing worked out. I am still figuring out how to get what I want from her pose wise and she is still trying to understand how I work. It just happens sometimes that way, but we will overcome it and I think tomorrow is the day.
Over at my daughters house sitting for her and Z, something that makes me a very proud papa, seeing she has a wonderful home and a wonderful man in her life. She is starting out so much better than her mother and I did, she learned from the mistakes we made and found someone that balances her out. I can be happy living in a cardboard box honestly, but to know they have this great house together just makes me feel good for her.
I think my heart is dead…I really do
