…..OMG!

We had a lot of people last year, but last night we went off the charts with well over 2,000 people coming through the show.  I hope everyone had a good time last night, the show will be up for a week if you want to go by and see the art again, but this time without the huge crowd of people walking in front of you.

I made some small cards to put by my work last night, they came out way to small, next time I will have postcard size cards ready. As we drove up to the studio (Koken Art Factory) about all I could say was ‘Holy Shit!’ due to the fact that the streets were packed with parked cars for at least a three block radius.

uRMoms is the new ‘bar’ they have in the basement, they are only open on Thursday’s and Saturday’s right now. They feature Live Band Karoke, pretty cool looking place as well, Amber and I are dying to shoot in the space.  They have a stage for the band along with lights, I am going to see if they will rent it out to us for band shoots. We could setup a live show shoot and not have to worry about crowds, along with have control of the lights for a change.

If you are stopping by my site from the show, I hope you enjoy what you see and better yet I hope some of you decide you would like to setup a shoot.

I am going to be working with the band Burning HerEyesIn – www.myspace.com/burninghereyesin – over the next few months. We attended a practice session to get some candid shots and to get aquiented with their music, makes it easier to capture them playing live.

I do have to say I was rather impressed, I liked their sound and energy, I am looking forward to them playing live again soon.
