..the wonderful woman that matted and framed my two prints for the upcoming Naughti-Gras show. Spending the extra money to have a professional mount and frame your work truly makes a difference. I can do my own cutting and mounting, as do most photographers, but to have someone else treat your work with the utmost respect and care is not always easy to find. So a huge Thank You goes out to Aida at Michael’s in Shiloh, IL
Hope to see you at the show!
..which reminded me about this photo…
shot with Canon 350D - SigmaXQ 135mm f/2.8 MF lens
it is an eight foot long print of a fog covered island on the IL river. This was shot last year at this time, it was way to foggy to photograph the eagles that day, but it was still a very productive day. The image is 14 separate photos that have been hand stitched together to make this huge panoramic image, full view is a must on this one.
This shot is from the same day further up the river…
Yep it’s that time again, time for raising awareness and funds to help find a cure for kids cancer. This year though Jessy, otherwise known as my daughter, will be putting her own hair up on the block.
She is letting those that donate decide, simply by adding ‘keep’ or ’shave’ to your name when you make a donation.
A donation can be in any amount and believe me every single dollar counts. If you don’t have a credit card, find someone that will let you give them your donation and then they can make your donation in your honor.
I am hoping to get Headblade to make some product donations this year, helping to bring more of you over to the shaved side
Stop by her donation page and vote to see her looking like her father with a nice smooth head.
Trust me there will be plenty of photos and video so you can see her get all her lovely hair shaved
