John D. Williams

I have been a photographer in one capacity or another since I was very young. I have worked as a professional in both commercial and portrait photography. I love working with musicians and doing live concert shoots, working with models to help build their portfolios, and doing themed shoots just for fun. I enjoy doing pretty much any type of photography, glamour, fashion, themed shoots (cosplay and the like, fine art nudes, erotic and fetish/bondage).

I also do portrait work, but it is not your typical portrait session, there are plenty of photographers out there already doing that sort of photography. I prefer to capture your personality, the real you.

When doing fetish and nudes I have lines that I will not cross as a photographer, even if the model has done or has the desire to do that type of work. My own personal boundaries come first at that point, any other time it will be the models boundary lines that I follow. If you are interested in doing artistic nudes, erotic, or fetish work and have never had the chance to do that type of work or it simply is not in your portfolio, please let me know. I do my best not to ask anyone to do that type of modeling, unless the model and myself have done shoots of that nature already.

Before I work with anyone, I require a meet and greet prior to any sessions being booked, period. This is a practice that both Amber and myself have in place when meeting new models or photographers (for her modeling). It makes the sessions much more fun if we take a few minutes before hand and actually talk. It helps both model and photographer to be more relaxed during the photo session and we get a chance to discuss the work you need for your portfolio, as well as any ideas that come about after meeting each other. Sometimes just sitting and talking with someone will get your creative process going as well. You are more than welcome to bring someone along with you during our meet and greet as well as any photo sessions, your comfort and safety come first. I have been doing this long enough to know there are a lot of dis-respectful people out there, both as photographers and models and I will not be insulted if you want to bring someone along.

First and foremost I do this because it is what I love, I do not do this for money. I will open a full blown studio again in the future, right now that is not in the cards due to nerve damage in the lumbar area of my spine. This means I only do TFP work at this time, if you are looking to build up your portfolio or just have some fun playing around with some of your own ideas or just spending a few hours goofing off in front of a camera drop me a note or an email.
